City Financial MultiManager Income Fund in Money Management Magazine

Money Management Magazine highlights City Financial in its survey of the Cautious Managed sector. In her article journalist Jo Dymock recognises the City Financial MultiManager Income Fund as the top performer over five years with returns of 19.4% AGR.

The article suggests that an initial investment of £1,000 five years ago would now be worth £2,424. Dymock points out that over the five-year period, the City Financial MultiManager Income Fund has only had one period of bottom quartile performance and has been top quartile in all others. The author goes on to identify the CF Midas Balanced Income Fund as the second best performer, although she notes that it “trails some way behind that of City Financial.”

[In preparing this article the author used performance data available from Morningstar. The three-year performance figures which are usually cited by City Financial for comparison within Investment Management Association fund sectors come from Lipper and will not be available for the City Financial MultiManager Income Fund until after July 2008 because the Fund only entered the IMA’s Cautious Managed Sector in mid-2005.]
